2001- Paul Oxley. The
illegitimate son of a Romanian Princess and Italian Truffle Picker,
Banjo playing Paul
Oxley joined Redmires in 1988, and has left and re-joined several
times since!. Oxley honed his Goal Keeping skills as a junior on the wind
swept moorlands of Lodge Moor in Sheffield, and has played high altitude
soccer ever since. During the gaps in his Redmires career, Oxley has also had a
stints as an outfield player (Center Forward) and tells everyone that he
has an impressive strike rate. However, Oxley now remains firmly
established as Redmires's Keeper and is renowned for his slapstick comedy
routine when facing a penalty. Aside
from Redmires, Oxley owns a Software Company and has recently ventured
into experimental Termite Farming for the paper recycling business. Finally,
a little known fact is that Oxley has a Bat phobia
and this has led to a number of fights with team vampire Ashton Woodhouse in his
youth.
